Important Information for Visitors from Abroad
To ensure that your journey can be completed smoothly, please observe the following points:
- Visa regulations: Participants from countries for which Germany requires a visa are asked to apply for the required travel authorisation in good time. Please get in touch with us if you require a letter of invitation.
- Sunday opening hours: Please note that most shops in Germany are closed on Sundays. Petrol stations, however, will normally be open to enable you to cover basic needs.
- Methods of payment: You should check in advance whether the credit cards you normally use are also widely accepted in Germany. Please also note, however, that some shops and businesses may not accept credit cards at all. It is thus recommended to carry at least a small amount of cash.
