We are there for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week". This is the motto of the experts in the Koenig & Bauer Service Centre in Würzburg. You will be supported from there in the event of faults or more complex press problems.


Our PressSupport24 service allows efficient online diagnosis and fast telephone support in case of press defects, 24 hours a day. In this way we can solve 80% of customer enquiries directly by remote maintenance – that is, without the need for time-consuming and expensive technician assignments on site.

AR-DataGlass: Use tomorrow's technology today

With our augmented reality data glasses, customer support reaches a new level: by camera, our remote maintenance specialists can see, in real time, what your service technician can see on site. He can then be instructed step by step, for example on how to remedy the defect.  

Remote maintenance by VPN: For us, data security is a major issue

An online connection using a virtual private network (VPN) offers maximum data security through special hardware encryption. With this broadband solution, our remote maintenance experts can access your press system securely, quickly and cheaply.

When every second counts: fast, direct support by data glasses

With the help of augmented reality (AR) data glasses, our remote maintenance specialists can see, in real time, what your technician sees and can support him directly in eliminating the fault. Your technician can communicate directly with the remote maintenance specialists using headphones or a microphone. All of this somewhere in the press, without having to interrupt work.  

Augmented reality & co. – this is how customer support works today

On the display of the data glasses, the technician can be shown various items of virtual information to support him in his work, for example

  • helpful information (e.g. the tightening torque of a bolt),
  • operating instructions or
  • spare parts catalogues etc.

Should a service assignment be necessary on site, the technical support staff will quickly assign the required Koenig & Bauer specialist from the fields of mechanical systems, electrical systems, electronic systems or printing technology. As a rule, we can thus get your printing press running again soon, even in emergencies.
