From 24 to 28 March 2026, Expoprint at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, Brazil, will bring together the most important players in the South American graphic arts industry. At Latin America's largest printing trade fair, which takes place every four years and expects around 50,000 qualified trade visitors and decision-makers, Koenig & Bauer will present concrete solutions for a rapidly changing market.

At the center of the 600-square-meter trade fair stand (F-20-100), a Rapida 105 will be in production. The six-colour press with coater tower and delivery extension is tailored exactly to the increasing efficiency requirements in modern commercial and packaging printing, while simultaneously demonstrating high flexibility across different market segments.

To help printing companies reduce their unit costs and handle jobs more profitably, the press for the 740 x 1,050 mm sheet format is equipped with a range of modern automation solutions. These include the combined CleanTronic washing systems for blankets, impression cylinders, and rollers, as well as the lowerable nonstop roller blind for uninterrupted print production during pile changes in the delivery. Furthermore, the VariDryBlue IR/hot-air drying in the delivery and delivery extension noticeably reduces energy consumption in the drying process.

Live presentations at the trade fair will demonstrate the performance and flexibility of the Rapida 105 through fast changes between different commercial print jobs and high-quality packaging. For immediate and continuous inline quality control and regulation, it is equipped with QualiTronic ColorControl and QualiTronic PrintCheck. QualiTronic PrintCheck ensures continuous production monitoring. ErgoTronic FormCheck projects coating and die-cutting contours directly onto the printed sheet at the console, thereby offering the possibility of additional print control regarding finishing and post-press processes.
